Baby Octopus Salad

Ingredients
4 baby octopus
1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce
1table spoon of lemon juice
1 cucumber
25g lettuce , roughly chopped
1/2 cup coriander

Method

Carefully cut and clean the octopus
Put the octopus in a bowl and add the chilli sauce , lemon juice, cucumbers  and the lettuce , mix well
Refrigerate for 3-4 hours
Heat a pan , cook octopus for 2 minutes or until cooked
Place the octopus in a platter , spoon the lettuce , cucumber , lemon juice , chilli sauce mixture over the octopus , add coriander
Serve Warm

Cassata

Ingredients

30 g ginger crystals , finely chopped
50 g red glace cherries , roughly chopped or sliced
300 g vanilla ice cream
250 g frozen strawberry fruit dessert
300 g chocolate ice cream


Method


line a 1 litre tin with plastic wrap ,
Mix the cherries and ginger into vanilla icecream
Add the mixture into the prepared tin , freeze for an hour
Spoon the strawberry fruit dessert over the icecream , return to the freezer for an hour
Spoon chocolate icecream , freeze overnight
To serve lift the plastic wrap and cut into slices

Baby Food 




Mix veg puree ( for 6 to 9 months old )

Ingredients

2 -3 slices of pumkin
2-3 pieces of broccoli ( can be avoided)
1/2 cup of bitter mellon
1 teaspoon clearified butter

Method

Heat water , bring it to boil
Add all the ingredients cook them until soft or the water has reduced to 1/4 amount
Add all the ingredients to the blender , Blend it to a soft puree
Ready to be served

Note : You can choose your own combination of vegi's , take care of food allergies ( if your baby is sensitive )
